THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL PART 12: FINAL LAP: THE PROFITABLE LIFE — WHEN THE SOUL IS PRESERVED AND REWARDED
Why Nothing Grows by Accident
Matthew 13:3–9
“Behold, a sower went out to sow…”
Nothing Thrives In Isolation
Imagine a world without pollination.
No fruits.
No flowers.
No harvest.
No food.
The soil may be rich.
The seed may be good.
The rain may fall.
But without pollination—life stagnates.
This is not just a biological truth; it is a spiritual law. God designed growth to happen through intentional transfer.
Nothing in creation was built to grow alone—not plants, not people, not nations, not the Church.
THE LAW DEFINED: GOD PARTNERS WITH CARRIERS
Jesus begins the parable by saying:
“A sower went out to sow.”
Notice this:
The seed didn’t move itself
The soil didn’t chase the seed
Growth started when someone carried something
Key Truth
God releases seeds, but He assigns carriers.
In the Kingdom:
Truth must be carried
Values must be transferred
Faith must be modeled
Righteousness must be lived and shared
Spiritually
Many believers assume that because they believe, growth will happen automatically around them. But the Gospel is not contagious by proximity—it is transmitted by intention. Prayer life influences atmospheres. Obedience releases spiritual fragrance
Consistent righteousness pollinates lives.
You may be saved—but are you spreading life?
Physically
In the physical world:
Discipline pollinates strength
Consistency pollinates fitness
Good habits pollinate longevity
You don’t wake up strong by accident. You don’t stay healthy by intention alone. Your lifestyle is pollinating your future body—daily. What you eat, how you rest, how you move—they are seeds.
Educationally
Education thrives on pollination:
Teaching
Mentorship
Discussion
Exposure
A student who refuses guidance may pass—but rarely excels.
Knowledge spreads when:
Questions are asked
Ideas are shared
Minds are sharpened
No serious academic growth happens in isolation.
Maritally
Strong homes don’t happen by chance. Values don’t pass by genetics. Character doesn’t grow by assumption.
Love must be shown
Discipline must be modeled
Faith must be practiced visibly
Children don’t learn what you say—they absorb what you live.
A silent parent is a failed pollinator.
Leadership & National Application: systems die without Righteous Pollination
Nations collapse not only because of bad policies—but because of value starvation.
When righteousness stops circulating:
Corruption fills the vacuum
Injustice multiplies
Mediocrity becomes normal
Every generation is either pollinated with truth—or poisoned by neglect.
Ghana does not just need ideas.
Ghana needs carriers of righteousness.
Illustration: The Farmer And The Silent Field
A farmer can plant seeds and walk away. Rain may fall. Sun may shine. But if pollination fails— the harvest fails. The farmer didn’t curse the soil. He ignored the process. Many believers love the seed. Many love the rain. But they ignore the responsibility of movement.
Core Declaration
You are not just soil—you are a carrier.
You are not just planted—you are sent.
Reflection
What am I currently pollinating—life or stagnation?
Who is growing because of my presence?
What environment has God planted me in to influence?
Prayer
Lord, Open my eyes to see where You have planted me. Open my heart to carry what You have placed in me. Let my life spread righteousness, truth, and hope— In my home, my work, my church, and my nation. Make me an effective pollinator in Your Kingdom. Amen.
