THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL PART 12: FINAL LAP: THE PROFITABLE LIFE — WHEN THE SOUL IS PRESERVED AND REWARDED Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  In Part 11, we stood before the eternal verdict. We learned that: Eternity reveals what life concealed. The verdict is based on response, not information. What you lived—not what you claimed—will speak. He managed life well… but neglected his soul. After all the warnings…after all the losses… after all the consequences…There is still a question: “ What does it mean to truly profit?”  Because not all profit is dangerous. There is a kind of gain…that heaven approves. A life where nothing essential is lost—and everything that matters is preserved. The Profitable Life — When The Soul Is Preserved And Rewarded A profitable life is not measured by how much you have…but by what you keep. It is a life where: Your soul is intact. Your alignment is consisten...

FROM LODEBAR TO THE KING’S TABLE PART 3 — PRESERVED IN LODEBAR

FROM LODEBAR TO THE KING’S TABLE
PART 3 — PRESERVED IN LODEBAR

2 Samuel 9:1–3

And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

In part 2, we saw how Mephibosheth fell into Lodebar:

A sudden accident left him crippled and isolated. He became socially invisible, practically limited, and emotionally vulnerable. Yet, even in that fall, God’s hand had not left him.

Today, we explore why God allowed him to stay in Lodebar — it wasn’t punishment, it was preservation.

Sometimes, the place you feel stuck, forgotten, or hidden is exactly where God wants you. Lodebar is not always a “bad place.” It can be a safe place where God preserves you until the timing is perfect.

Mephibosheth’s story reminds us that hidden seasons have purpose.

🛡️ 1. Spiritually — God Preserves You in hidden places

David remembered Jonathan and sought to show kindness (2 Samuel 9:1)

Mephibosheth was hidden, but God kept him alive and safe. Spiritually, God often hides His children from danger until the right moment.

🔑 Truth: Preservation may feel like waiting, but it is protection.

💔 2. Emotionally — Hidden Seasons Build Resilience

Lodebar could have been discouraging, lonely, and hopeless. Yet, emotionally, it taught Mephibosheth patience, humility, and dependence on God.

🔑 Truth: Seasons of hiding are not seasons of rejection — they are training grounds for faith.

🪙 3. Physically / Practically — Lodebar Is A Place Of Safety

Mephibosheth’s physical limitations made him vulnerable in a palace setting. Lodebar protected him from political dangers, hostile forces, and betrayal. Practical insight: Sometimes low places shield you until God is ready.

🔑 Truth: God’s protection often comes through circumstances you may not understand.

👥 4. Socially — God Remembers You When People Forget

Lodebar was socially invisible, yet God remembered Mephibosheth. Even when people overlook or exclude you, God keeps your name on His heart. Hallelujah!

🔑 Truth: Being forgotten by the world doesn’t mean you are forgotten by God.

🛑 Key Lesson Of Part 3

Your hidden season is not wasted.

Lodebar is a place of preservation, protection, and preparation.

God uses quiet seasons to ready you for future elevation.

🧠 Reflection Questions

Can you identify a “Lodebar season” in your life right now?

How has God been protecting you in ways you may not have noticed?

How can you remain patient and faithful while in a hidden season?

🙏 Prayer

Lord, help me trust You in hidden seasons. Let me see that even in isolation, You are preserving, protecting, and preparing me. Teach me patience, faith, and hope while I wait for Your timing. Amen.

In Part 4, we explore “David’s Question: Divine Remembrance” —

how God actively remembers His children and brings them into their rightful place.

Do you love this message?

Then don’t keep it to yourself.

Share it with someone who feels hidden, overlooked, or stuck in a waiting season.

Let this word travel beyond you.

If it challenged how you see quiet seasons, let it change how you wait with faith.

If it spoke to your hidden struggles, let it speak through you to others.

Be a witness—

carry hope from your hidden place toward the purpose God has for you.
