PARTNERING WITH THE LORD OF THE HARVEST  PART 4: THE WORKERS ARE FEW  Luke 10:2b continues:  "...but the workers are few." Key Thought : The greatest limitation in God’s harvest is not the readiness of people but the availability of workers. In Part 3, we saw that Jesus described the world as a plentiful harvest, meaning that God has already been at work in people’s hearts and many are ready to receive the gospel. The challenge, therefore, is not the field but the workforce. Scripture Focus Luke 10:2b continues: "...but the workers are few." With this statement, Jesus shifts attention from opportunity to responsibility. The problem is not that there are no people to reach, but that there are not enough people willing to go. DEALING WITH DIABETIC WOUNDS – A BALANCED DEVOTIONAL SERIES

PART 1: RECOGNIZING THE WOUND – THE FIRST STEP To HEALING


Revelation 2:4-5

"You have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first." 


Not every wound bleeds. Some deteriorate quietly beneath the surface—unseen, unfelt, and unspoken—until it's too late. Just like a diabetic wound that looks minor at first but spreads when ignored, many of life's deepest issues—spiritual, emotional, physical, and even national—start small. But delay is dangerous. Healing begins when we are humble and honest enough to recognize the wound.


Key Scripture:

"You have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first." – Revelation 2:4-5


LIFE APPLICATION:

Two years ago, a friend called me, asking for blood donation for his father-in-law, who was scheduled for a leg amputation at the 37 Military Hospital. The cause? A diabetic wound that had been ignored for too long.


This is how problems grow in every area of life:


Physically: Ignoring health issues leads to bigger problems (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).

Spiritually: Small compromises lead to spiritual decline.

Academically/Career-wise: Procrastination in studies or skill development leads to setbacks.

Leadership: Unchecked inefficiencies lead to national and corporate failure.


The first step to healing is recognizing the wound—whether it’s in your faith, body, career, or leadership.


REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

1. Are there areas in your life where you have ignored warning signs?

2. What small steps can you take today to prevent greater harm tomorrow?



Take a moment today to evaluate your life. Identify one area that needs attention and commit to addressing it immediately.


PRAYER:

Lord, help me recognize areas in my life that need attention before they become destructive. Give me the wisdom to act early. Amen.
