🐦THE TAILORBIRD AND THE WISDOM OF STARTING SMALL PART 1: USING WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR HANDS Exodus 4:2  “What is that in your hand?” Luke 16:10  “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much…” PERSONAL ENCOUNTER STORY Recently, I came across something that genuinely arrested my attention. I was scrolling through TikTok one evening when I saw a short clip about a small bird called the tailorbird. At first, I thought it was just another nature video—something interesting but ordinary. But as I kept watching, something unusual happened. This tiny bird was shown “ sewing ” leaves together to build its nest. At first, I doubted it. It looked almost staged. But curiosity pushed me further. I paused the video… watched it again… and then again. That moment didn’t just stay on TikTok—it followed me off the app. I found myself searching: “ Is this real? How does a bird sew leaves?” And that was the beginning of a deeper journey. The more I researched, the more I r...

THE SURROGATE JOURNEY: BIRTHING PURPOSE THROUGH OTHERS. PART 7: THE REWARD OF THE SURROGATE — WHEN HEAVEN SEES YOUR LABOR

THE SURROGATE JOURNEY: BIRTHING PURPOSE THROUGH OTHERS.
PART 7: THE REWARD OF THE SURROGATE — WHEN HEAVEN SEES YOUR LABOR

Corinthians 15:58, Matthew 6:4

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” — 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)

“...your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” — Matthew 6:4b (NIV)

🔁 Recap of Part 6:

In Part 6, we reached Delivery Day — that powerful moment where pain gives way to joy, and what you’ve carried is finally released. Whether spiritual or physical, birthing purpose always comes with tears and triumph. But we also acknowledged something difficult: sometimes, the carrier doesn’t keep what they birthed — yet they still rejoice.

🕊️ The Carriers Heaven Applauds

In human surrogacy, the surrogate usually steps back after delivery. Her name doesn’t appear on the birth certificate. She may not be part of the child’s life. Her reward is not public.

But in heaven, it’s different.

God remembers:

The intercessor who fasted quietly.

The mentor who poured herself out behind the scenes.

The father figure who stepped in with no fanfare.

The spiritual surrogate who carried burdens that didn’t belong to them.

No labor is wasted.

No prayer is forgotten.

No pain is pointless.

👣 Even if the World Forgets… God Doesn’t.

The world claps for the platform.

But heaven stands for the prayer closet.

The world rewards results.

But God rewards faithfulness.

You may not have a stage, a certificate, or a viral testimony.

But in God’s record book, you are listed among the faithful carriers.

🎁 A Different Kind of Reward

The reward of the surrogate isn’t always wealth or fame. Sometimes it's:

The smile on someone’s face when they walk into destiny.

The peace of knowing you were obedient.

The satisfaction that someone’s life was changed because you carried well.

And other times? It’s the eternal reward—the one Jesus Himself brings when He says,

Well done, good and faithful servant…” (Matthew 25:21)

🌾 Don't Stop Carrying

This series began with a woman in Ghana — barren for nearly 18 years due to a removed womb, yet blessed with twins through surrogacy. That story became a seed in my spirit. And now, you’ve journeyed through this meal with me.

You’ve seen how God can use the waiting, the carrying, the pain, and the release—to bring forth life.

Now I encourage you:

Keep carrying. Keep laboring. Keep pushing.

Even if your name is forgotten here—heaven never misses a single contraction.

🙏Prayer

Father, thank You for reminding me that every seed I’ve sown, every burden I’ve carried, and every soul I’ve travailed for—matters to You. Help me never grow weary in doing good. Teach me to rejoice in silent sacrifices, knowing You are the God who sees, remembers, and rewards. Let my legacy be obedience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

📌 Devotional Nugget:

Your labor in love is never in vain. Even if the stage forgets your name, heaven remembers your push.

💬 Reflection:

What kind of reward are you truly looking for?

If no one ever thanks you, would you still carry purpose faithfully?

🍽️ After-Meal Trilogy Begins

Before we rise from this table, let’s take a final walk through Scripture to honor three unforgettable carriers—Mary, Simeon, and Anna…

We begin with Mary, the young virgin whose surrender made her the ultimate divine carrier.

She didn’t ask for it. She didn’t understand it. But she said yes — and the world was never the same.
