THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET

THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET Luke 5:6–7 “And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”  When Blessing Is Not the Final Destination In Part 1, we learned that empty seasons do not always mean failure. Peter and his companions toiled all night and caught nothing, yet that same moment of frustration became the setting for a divine encounter. We discovered that: God often visits people in seasons of exhaustion. Empty nets can prepare us for dependence on God. And one act of obedience can change everything. Peter’s failure was not the end — it was preparation for revelation. After a whole night of failure, the miracle finally came. The nets that were once empty suddenly became full. The boats that carried disappointment suddenly carried abundance. This was the biggest catch of Peter’s life. Yet something shocking happened: The miracle changed their condition temporarily, but it was not ...

WHEN HEAVEN DOWNLOADS POWER: REFILLING VS INFILLING. PART 4: THE CHARGER, JESUS OUR MEDIATOR: STAYING CONNECTED TO CHRIST, OUR LIFELINE

WHEN HEAVEN DOWNLOADS POWER: REFILLING VS INFILLING.
PART 4: THE CHARGER, JESUS OUR MEDIATOR: STAYING CONNECTED TO CHRIST, OUR LIFELINE

Acts 6:1-10

Recap of Part 3

In Part 3, we explored the analogy of the mobile phone as a symbol of the believer. Like phones, Christians must be regularly charged to remain functional and impactful. Acts 6:3 taught us that spiritual service demands spiritual strength. Being full of the Spirit and wisdom is not optional—it’s essential.

Think about your phone again. It may be beautifully designed, fully capable, and even recently upgraded. But all of that means nothing if it doesn’t have access to power—and more importantly, a way to receive it. That’s where the charger comes in.

In our spiritual journey, Jesus is that Charger. He is the connector between us and the divine source of power—God. Without Jesus, our access to heaven’s strength, wisdom, and grace is impossible. The charger may not be the actual source of electricity, but without it, the device remains powerless.

🔌 Jesus: The Mediating Connector

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.” — 1 Timothy 2:5

In Acts 6:5, Stephen was described as “full of faith and of the Holy Spirit.” That didn’t happen automatically. It came from a life deeply connected to the source—through Jesus.

Just as a charger links a phone to the power socket, Jesus bridges the gap between man and God. Without Him, we are spiritually dead—cut off from divine life. He is the one who allows the flow of power, wisdom, grace, and spiritual strength to reach us.

When you plug in your phone, the charger ensures the smooth transfer of energy. When you come to Jesus in prayer, worship, or surrender, He ensures a smooth flow of spiritual empowerment from heaven into your life.

Application

Are you connected to Jesus, or are you trying to serve God without plugging into Christ? Many believers are spiritually drained because they’ve neglected the very channel God has provided for divine strength.

To be used like Stephen and the early deacons, you must stay plugged into Jesus daily. He not only saves us—He sustains us.

💡Key Point

Just as the charger is the lifeline between the phone and the wall socket, Jesus is our lifeline to God. Through Him, believers access power, grace, and strength for daily living and ministry. Staying connected to Him is the secret to a life that glows with wisdom and Spirit-filled effectiveness (Acts 6:5).

🙏🏾Prayer

Jesus, thank You for being my eternal Charger—my connection to the Father. Forgive me for the times I’ve tried to run on my own strength. Help me to remain fully plugged into You, drawing life, light, and wisdom from heaven daily. May I be like Stephen—full of faith and the Holy Spirit—because I never disconnect from You. Amen.

🤔 Reflection

Are you trying to serve God without plugging into Jesus daily?

Have you mistaken spiritual activity for spiritual connectivity?

What practices can you adopt to stay continually connected to Christ as your life-source?

🧭 Next Part (Part 5):

In Part 5, we’ll move from the Charger to the Wall Socket—representing God, the ultimate source of power and strength. Because even the best charger is useless if it isn’t connected to the real source. Let’s explore how our Father fuels everything from above.

💬 Let’s Talk

When was the last time you truly felt “plugged in” spiritually? Was it during worship, a fast, or quiet time? Share how you recharge spiritually and how Jesus has been your spiritual charger in moments of weakness.
