BEYOND EHUD: THE LEFT-HANDED WARRIORS OF BENJAMIN PART 3: THE WARRIORS WHO NEVER MISSED
Matthew 17:27b
“...cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first.” NKJV
🔄 Recap (Part 3):
Jesus told Peter to go to the sea—not to relive a painful past, but to redeem a familiar place with a fresh word. Sometimes, your next miracle is hidden in the place you once left in frustration.
🔍 Focus: Use What You Have, Even If It Feels Small
Jesus didn’t say, “Throw your net.”
He said, “Cast in a hook.”
That’s one line. One hook. One fish.
Peter was used to nets—big, strategic efforts. But this miracle wasn’t about size. It was about simple obedience with a small tool.
We often underestimate the tools we left behind:
A dormant gift
A forgotten CV
A shelved idea
An old business plan
A barely-used skill
Peter had walked away from fishing—but he still had a line.
He didn’t need a boat or a crowd—just obedience and the courage to cast again.
🔑 Your “line” is your God-given skill, experience, tool, or idea.
And the lake is your field, your environment, or assignment.
When you bring your line to the lake under divine instruction, miracles happen. Hallelujah!
🔥 Prophetic Insight:
Some people are praying for a coin—but ignoring the line in their hands.
God is saying: “Throw it out. Use it. Don’t wait for perfect conditions—just cast.”
🧠 Reflection:
What’s your “line”? (A skill, a story, a tool, an ability, a gift God can use.)
Have you hidden it because it once failed—or didn’t seem useful anymore?
✅ Call to Action:
Make a list of your current “lines”—skills, experiences, or opportunities you’ve set aside.
Then ask:
“Lord, which of these are You calling me to throw out again—this time by Your word?”
Speak aloud:
Lord, I may have one line, but I have Your instruction—and that’s enough.
🙏Prayer:
Father, open my eyes to see the line You’ve placed in my hand. Help me not to despise small tools or old gifts. I receive fresh boldness to obey You again, even in the same environment where I once struggled. I trust that with Your word, this line will lead to something miraculous. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
💬 Let’s Talk:
Have you ever experienced a time when you used something small and God multiplied it? What “line” are you feeling led to throw again?
⏭️ Teaser for Part 5:
The fish is coming—but it’s not ordinary. In Part 5, we’ll look at what’s inside the fish and why your provision may be hidden in an unlikely place.
