THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET

THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET Luke 5:6–7 “And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”  When Blessing Is Not the Final Destination In Part 1, we learned that empty seasons do not always mean failure. Peter and his companions toiled all night and caught nothing, yet that same moment of frustration became the setting for a divine encounter. We discovered that: God often visits people in seasons of exhaustion. Empty nets can prepare us for dependence on God. And one act of obedience can change everything. Peter’s failure was not the end — it was preparation for revelation. After a whole night of failure, the miracle finally came. The nets that were once empty suddenly became full. The boats that carried disappointment suddenly carried abundance. This was the biggest catch of Peter’s life. Yet something shocking happened: The miracle changed their condition temporarily, but it was not ...

THE SURROGATE JOURNEY: BIRTHING PURPOSE THROUGH OTHERS.
PART 4: UNTIL CHRIST BE FORMED — SPIRITUAL SURROGACY AND INTERCESSION

Galatians 4:19

My little children, for whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.” (KJV)

🔁 Quick Recap:

In Part 3, we walked with Hagar through the emotional toll of carrying someone else’s dream. What began as an act of obedience ended in rejection and mistreatment. Yet even in her pain, God saw her. Many of us have carried purpose in secret and pain in silence — but we were reminded that God never overlooks the labor of the unseen carrier.

🧎‍♂️When Prayer Feels Like Labor

Apostle Paul wasn’t a woman. He had no physical womb.

Yet he described his ministry using childbirth language.

He said, “I travail in birth…”

Why?

Because spiritual birth is just as painful, messy, and weighty as physical birth.

Paul had poured his heart into the Galatians. He preached, prayed, corrected, and counseled. And now, he found himself laboring again—not for their physical salvation, but for Christ to be fully formed in them.

🤰The Picture of Gestational Surrogacy in the Spirit

In gestational surrogacy, the surrogate doesn’t use her own egg. She simply carries what belongs to another. She nurtures it, feeds it, protects it—until it’s fully formed and delivered.

That’s what spiritual intercessors, disciplers, and mentors do.

They carry someone else’s:

Destiny

Calling

Potential

Not for their own glory—but to help birth spiritual maturity in others.

Paul was a spiritual surrogate—not giving birth to a personal agenda, but to Christ in others.

🛐 Intercessors: The Hidden Surrogates of the Spirit

Have you ever:

Cried over someone who was walking away from God?

Labored in prayer for someone’s healing, restoration, or salvation?

Carried a burden for your church, city, or generation?

You’re a spiritual surrogate—a carrier of destiny, laboring in intercession until Christ is formed in others.

Like a gestational surrogate, you:

Don’t always get the applause.

Aren’t always remembered in the testimony.

Might be forgotten after the “baby” is born.

But heaven knows. And that’s enough.

🌿 The Sacred Burden

Spiritual surrogacy is sacred. It’s painful. But it’s beautiful.

It’s waking up in the night to pray for someone who doesn’t even know you’re praying.

It’s fasting for someone’s breakthrough when yours hasn’t come yet.

It’s walking with someone through their mess while trusting God with your own.

That’s what it means to travail in birth until Christ is formed.

🙏 Prayer

Dear Jesus, help me to carry others with the same grace and compassion You’ve shown me. Teach me how to labor in prayer until destinies are born, until lives are restored, until Your image is formed in those around me. May I not grow weary in doing good—even when it’s unseen. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

📌 Devotional Nugget:

A spiritual surrogate carries not their own name, but heaven’s burden, until souls are born and Christ is fully formed in others.

💬 Let’s Talk:

Who are you currently “carrying” in prayer, mentorship, or spiritual intercession?

Have you ever felt unrecognized after investing deeply in someone’s growth?

Please kindly share your thoughts, testimonies, or questions—we grow better together.

Thank you!

In the next devotional, we’ll explore the quiet strength of carriers who go unseen—those who pour into destinies they’ll never keep, yet labor with love all the same.
