THE REDEMPTIVE POWER OF GOD: ELISHA AND THE WIDOW'S JAR OF OIL PART 9: THE FINAL SHIFT — WHEN GOD TURNS PROVISION INTO PURPOSE 2 KINGS 4:7 In Part 7, we discovered that the flow of oil stopped not because God stopped, but because the vessels were finished. We learned that God’s supply is unlimited, but human capacity determines how much we receive. The limitation was never in God—it was in available vessels. Now the story reaches its climax: what God does with the miracle after it is completed. Every miracle from God is not just about survival—it is about assignment. God does not only bring people out of crisis; He brings them into purpose. In this final movement of the story, provision becomes responsibility, and responsibility becomes destiny. In 2 Kings 4:7, the woman returns to Elisha, and she receives a divine instruction: “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt. You and your sons can live on the rest.” This moment is the final shift of the entire miracle. What began a...

THE SURROGATE JOURNEY: BIRTHING PURPOSE THROUGH OTHERS. 🍰 BONUS PART 8: MARY — THE ULTIMATE DIVINE CARRIER

THE SURROGATE JOURNEY: BIRTHING PURPOSE THROUGH OTHERS.
🍰 BONUS PART 8: MARY — THE ULTIMATE DIVINE CARRIER

Luke 1:38, Galatians 4:4

And Mary said, ‘Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.’” — Luke 1:38 (KJV)

🔁 Quick Recap (From Part 7)

In Part 7, we explored the reward of spiritual surrogacy. We saw how God never forgets those who carry burdens for others — in prayer, mentoring, sacrifice, or intercession. Even when they don’t receive applause or credit, heaven remembers every push, every tear, and every hidden labor of love. The world may overlook silent carriers, but God crowns them with joy and eternal significance.

🌿 Mary: The Womb That Welcomed Heaven

She was young.

She was engaged.

She was ordinary.

Yet when God searched the earth for a womb, He chose Mary—not because of her status, but because of her surrender.

“Be it unto me according to thy word…” — that was her yes.

And with it, she became the greatest surrogate of divine destiny the world has ever known.

She didn’t initiate the seed.

She didn’t plan the mission.

But she carried the incarnation of God within her.

What Makes Mary a Divine Surrogate?

In spiritual language, a surrogate carries something that is:

Not theirs by origin,

Meant for someone else,

Birthed for the world’s benefit.

That was Mary.

Heaven implanted the promise.

Mary carried it.

The world received it.

She didn't fully understand what she carried, but she carried it faithfully—from womb to cross.

💔 The Weight of Her “Yes”

Her yes cost her:

Her reputation (Who would believe her story?)

Her comfort (Pregnancy, travel, birth in a stable)

Her control (She raised the Son of God, but could not protect Him from the Cross)

Yet through her surrender, salvation entered history.

🙌🏽 Mary’s Legacy: The Handmaid of the Lord

She is not just a historical figure.

She is a template of spiritual motherhood:

Open to divine assignments,

Willing to carry what she doesn’t fully comprehend,

Ready to release what she’s carried into God’s hands.

She teaches us that true carriers don’t need the spotlight—just obedience and a heart ready to be overshadowed by the Spirit.

🧎🏽‍♀️Prayer:

Lord, make me like Mary—quiet, surrendered, willing. May I not seek the glory of the calling, but the grace to carry whatever You place inside me. I am Your handmaid. Be it unto me according to Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

📌 Devotional Nugget:

Mary didn’t just carry a baby. She carried the Kingdom. She didn’t give birth to a child—she gave birth to hope.

💬 Let’s Talk:

What is God asking you to carry that you don’t fully understand?

Are you willing to say “Yes” even when it costs you comfort or reputation?

Please kindly share your thoughts, testimonies, or questions—we grow better together.

Thank you!

📖 Bonus Part 9: Simeon — The Watchman Who Waited

We’ll now meet a man who didn’t carry in his womb, but in his spirit. A faithful watchman who waited, prayed, and prophesied until the promise appeared.
