THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET

THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET Luke 5:6–7 “And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”  When Blessing Is Not the Final Destination In Part 1, we learned that empty seasons do not always mean failure. Peter and his companions toiled all night and caught nothing, yet that same moment of frustration became the setting for a divine encounter. We discovered that: God often visits people in seasons of exhaustion. Empty nets can prepare us for dependence on God. And one act of obedience can change everything. Peter’s failure was not the end — it was preparation for revelation. After a whole night of failure, the miracle finally came. The nets that were once empty suddenly became full. The boats that carried disappointment suddenly carried abundance. This was the biggest catch of Peter’s life. Yet something shocking happened: The miracle changed their condition temporarily, but it was not ...

THE LINE AND THE LAKE: WHEN OBEDIENCE MEETS UNLIKELY PROVISION
PART 5: THE COIN IN THE FISH — MIRACLES IN STRANGE MOUTHS

Matthew 17:27c

“...and when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.” NKJV

🔄 Recap (Part 4):

Peter was instructed not to throw a net, but a line—a simple tool, used with divine precision. We learned that miracles aren’t about big moves but often about small, obedient ones.

🔍 Focus: Strange Carriers of Divine Supply

Peter obeys. He casts his line into the lake.

And from one fish’s mouth, he pulls out a coin—not just for himself, but for Jesus too.

Wait… what?

A fish, swimming in a lake, holding a coin, waiting for the right hook, at the right time?

That’s not ordinary—that’s orchestrated by heaven.

🔑 God can place your provision in the most unexpected vessels.

The question is: Will you obey long enough to reach it?

This coin didn’t come through a wealthy donor or a temple treasury. It came through:

A fish

A hook

A man who obeyed

We often expect provision to come through “logical” channels. But God says:

“I’ll send it through mouths that don’t even know what they’re carrying.”

Sometimes, your next breakthrough is already moving toward you—hidden in a “fish” you haven't caught yet.

Prophetic Insight:

There is a coin with your name on it—assigned to your obedience, waiting in a place you might consider strange, beneath you, or irrelevant.

🧠 Reflection:

Have you ever missed a miracle because the method didn’t look spiritual enough?

Are you willing to obey even when the source feels unusual?

Call to Action:

Ask yourself: Where have I overlooked God’s provision because I was expecting something more glamorous or “logical”?

Write it down. Then pray:

“Lord, I choose obedience over appearances. I’ll follow Your word, no matter how strange the method may seem.”

🛐 Prayer:

Father, thank You for being the God of unusual provision. Forgive me for the times I’ve dismissed strange instructions or unlikely vessels. Teach me to recognize the fish You’ve assigned to carry my coin. Let me walk in bold obedience, knowing that Your supply never misses its destination. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

💬 Let’s Talk:

Has God ever surprised you with provision from an unlikely place? What “fish” might be swimming toward your hook right now?

⏭️ Teaser for Part 6:

What if the coin isn’t just for you? In Part 6, we’ll explore why Jesus told Peter to pay for both of them—and what it says about your obedience covering others too.
