PARTNERING WITH THE LORD OF THE HARVEST PART 4: THE WORKERS ARE FEW

Image
PARTNERING WITH THE LORD OF THE HARVEST  PART 4: THE WORKERS ARE FEW  Luke 10:2b continues:  "...but the workers are few." Key Thought : The greatest limitation in God’s harvest is not the readiness of people but the availability of workers. In Part 3, we saw that Jesus described the world as a plentiful harvest, meaning that God has already been at work in people’s hearts and many are ready to receive the gospel. The challenge, therefore, is not the field but the workforce. Scripture Focus Luke 10:2b continues: "...but the workers are few." With this statement, Jesus shifts attention from opportunity to responsibility. The problem is not that there are no people to reach, but that there are not enough people willing to go. What This Reveals About the Lord of the Harvest By calling believers workers, Jesus emphasizes that participating in God’s mission requires effort, commitment, and sacrifice. Harvesting is labor-intensive. It involves time, patience, and persever...

THE FREEZER, THE FRIDGE & THE HOLY OF HOLIES PART 2: THE OUTER COURT — BUSY, BUT NOT PRESERVED

Image
THE FREEZER, THE FRIDGE & THE HOLY OF HOLIES PART 2: THE OUTER COURT — BUSY, BUT NOT PRESERVED Revelation 3:2 “Be watchful, strengthen what remains.”  In Part 1, we saw that not all preservation is protection. The freezer stops decay, but the fridge only slows it. We saw how: Things can look fine while quietly spoiling. Decay often goes unnoticed by the one who placed the food there. God uses discerning voices to alert us before breakdown becomes destruction. Part 1 warned us against settling for delayed decay instead of full preservation.  Entering the Outer Court When God instructed Moses to build the Tabernacle, He designed it in levels: The Outer Court The Inner or Holy Place The Holy of Holies The journey inward was a journey deeper into God’s presence. The Outer Court was the first place everyone encountered — busy, active, visible. 📖 “ This is the way; walk in it.” ( Isa. 30:21 – key phrase) But here’s the danger: Many people enter the Outer Court and never move be...

THE FREEZER, THE FRIDGE & THE HOLY OF HOLIES PART 1: THE FREEZER & THE FRIDGE — THE WARNING

Image
THE FREEZER, THE FRIDGE & THE HOLY OF HOLIES PART 1: THE FREEZER & THE FRIDGE — THE WARNING Proverbs 22:3 “The prudent see danger and take refuge.”   Opening Devotional Thought One day, I took some food out of the freezer, removed a portion, and placed the rest in the fridge. At first, nothing seemed wrong. It didn’t spoil immediately. For days, it still looked fine. Then one late afternoon, my wife returned from school, opened the fridge, and noticed what I had missed—the food had begun to spoil. She pointed it out to me, and in that moment, this message was born. Because decay doesn’t always announce itself to the person who placed the food there. Sometimes, it takes someone discerning to notice that what looks fine is already going bad. I had assumed the fridge would play the same role as the freezer simply because the food was still inside the fridge. But I was wrong. The environment had changed, and slowly, silently, the food was being ruined. That moment taught me a l...

JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 7: THE FINAL VERDICT: SEALED BY GRACE

Image
THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 7: THE FINAL VERDICT: SEALED BY GRACE 📖 Romans 8:33 “Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.” In the last session, we saw how the believer — as the plaintiff—presents their petition before the Judge of all the earth. We discovered that prayer is more than pleading; it’s a structured legal presentation rooted in the promises of God. You don’t beg in the courtroom of Heaven — you petition with evidence: the Word, the blood, and your covenant rights. The Court Falls Silent The courtroom grows still. The Judge, radiant in majesty, rises from His seat. The Advocate stands beside you, His robe glistening with the marks of your redemption. The accuser, once confident, now trembles — his evidence has been invalidated, his accusations overruled. Heaven awaits the final verdict. This is the moment of divine closure. Not the end of your story — but the end of condemnation’s voice over it. 👑 1. The Judge Spe...

THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 6: THE PLAINTIFF’S PETITION

Image
THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 6: THE PLAINTIFF’S PETITION 📖 Luke 18:7–8   “And shall not God avenge His own elect who cry out to Him day and night, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.” In Part 5, we discovered the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the divine Clerk of Heaven. He records the Judge’s verdict, seals the decree, and reminds us of what Jesus has already accomplished. We saw how He enforces Heaven’s rulings in our hearts and empowers us to live as those truly justified and free. Now, the gavel has fallen, the verdict is sealed, and Heaven’s record is clear — but the story isn’t over. Someone must now petition the court to see Heaven’s verdict manifested on earth — and that person is you. In every courtroom, a plaintiff is the one who brings a case before the judge. They file petitions, present grievances, and request justice. They don’t act in authority — they appeal to it. In Heaven’s courtroom, we are...

THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 5: THE CLERK RECORDS THE VERDICT

Image
THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 5: THE CLERK RECORDS THE VERDICT 📖 John 14:26   “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” In Part 4, we witnessed the Judge of Heaven — God the Father — deliver His final verdict. Justice demanded payment, but mercy paid the price. We saw how righteousness and peace kissed at the cross, and how God’s wisdom satisfied the law through love. The gavel of grace came down with power: “ Case dismissed — redeemed and justified !” But once the Judge rules, someone must record and execute that verdict. That’s where the Clerk of Heaven steps in — the Holy Spirit. In every courtroom, the clerk has a vital role. While others may debate or argue, the clerk’s duty is to record the judgment, seal the documents, and enforce the decision. Whatever the judge declares, the clerk ensures it is carried out — legally and accur...

THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 4: THE JUDGE RULES IN MERCY

Image
THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 4: THE JUDGE RULES IN MERCY 📖 Psalm 89:14  “ Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your face.” In Part 3, we saw Jesus Christ, our Advocate, rise to defend us when the accuser finished his case. He didn’t argue our innocence — He presented His sacrifice. He reminded the court that the penalty for sin was already paid on the cross. We saw how His blood became the legal evidence of our redemption, and how His scars still testify before the Father. Heaven fell silent as the Advocate spoke — and now, the Judge prepares to deliver His verdict. Every courtroom reaches a defining moment — when the Judge speaks. His voice determines the outcome: guilty or free, condemned or forgiven. In the Courtroom of Heaven, that Judge is God the Father — perfect in justice, yet overflowing in mercy. Unlike earthly judges who are limited by law, God is both the Author of the Law and the Source of G...

THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 3: THE ADVOCATE SPEAKS

Image
THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 3: THE ADVOCATE SPEAKS 1 John 2:1–2  “If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins.” In Part 2, we saw Satan step forward as the prosecuting attorney in Heaven’s courtroom. He brought up our past, our failures, and our weaknesses — hoping to use them as legal evidence against us. But we saw that his accusations have no standing when the Blood of Jesus is applied. We also discovered that guilt is his strongest weapon, but repentance and faith in the Blood render his case powerless. Now, as the accuser finishes his argument, the courtroom falls silent — and the Advocate stands up. Every trial turns when the defense attorney rises. In Heaven’s courtroom, Jesus Christ is that defense — the Advocate who speaks for the guilty, pleads for the condemned, and redeems the accused. The word Advocate (Greek: Parakletos) means one called to stand beside and s...

THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 2: THE ACCUSER TAKES THE STAND

Image
THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 2: THE ACCUSER TAKES THE STAND Revelation 12:10  “For the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.” In Part 1, we witnessed the opening of Heaven’s courtroom — a place of divine order, justice, and mercy. We saw that prayer is more than noise; it is a legal petition before the Judge of all the earth. Heaven’s court sits when matters of destiny, accusation, or mercy must be settled. We learnt that justice and mercy meet at the cross, and that the gavel of grace fell in our favor through the blood of Jesus. Now that the court has opened, a new voice rises — the voice of the accuser. Every courtroom has a prosecutor — one who digs up evidence, presents charges, and demands judgment. In the Courtroom of Heaven, that role is played by Satan, the accuser of the brethren. Heaven knows him not just as the tempter, but as the prosecuting attorney — a relentless adversary who collect...

THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 1: THE OPENING OF THE COURT

Image
THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN: WHERE JUSTICE MEETS MERCY. PART 1: THE OPENING OF THE COURT     Daniel 7:9–10, Isaiah 40:31a  “As I looked, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His seat… The court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.” Every courtroom begins with order — not chaos. When the judge walks in, silence fills the room. The crowd rises, and proceedings begin. In the same way, Heaven also has its courts — spiritual places where eternal decisions are made, destinies are reviewed, and verdicts are declared. Daniel saw this prophetic reality: thrones were set, books were opened, and the court was in session. It wasn’t a dream — it was a divine revelation that Heaven operates on legal principles. Before anything manifests on earth, it is first decided in Heaven’s courtroom. This truth alters our perspective on prayer, warfare, and even forgiveness. Prayer isn’t just shouting — it’s petitioning. Warfare isn’t just noise — it’s a legal argument. And f...

FROM LODEBAR TO THE KING’S TABLE PART 10 — LIVING LIKE ROYALTY AFTER LODEBAR

Image
FROM LODEBAR TO THE KING’S TABLE PART 10 — LIVING LIKE ROYALTY AFTER LODEBAR 2 Samuel 19:30 And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in peace unto his own house. In Part 9, we confronted betrayal from within—when helpers become competitors and truth is distorted. We learned that God allows such moments to test humility, trust, and discernment. Leaving Lodebar is one thing. Living like royalty is another. Many survive hardship, but few sustain honor after restoration. The final test is not whether God lifts you—but whether you remain grounded once He does. Spiritual Dimension — Walking in Humility and Gratitude Mephibosheth never demanded justice. He trusted the king’s discernment. Royal living begins with humility— knowing grace brought you here, not merit. Physical Dimension — Stewardship of Provision Restoration came with land, servants, and resources. Living like royalty meant managing abundance wisely. Grace gives provi...

FROM LODEBAR TO THE KING’S TABLE PART 9 — ZIBA THE BETRAYER

Image
FROM LODEBAR TO THE KING’S TABLE PART 9 — ZIBA THE BETRAYER 2 Samuel 16:1-3 And the king said, And where is thy master's son? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem: for he said, To day shall the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father. In Part 8, we saw that Mephibosheth’s weakness did not cancel his place at the king’s table. He was still lame, yet still chosen. Grace covered what could not be fixed. Not every enemy comes from the outside. Some betrayals rise from within the circle that once helped you. The same bridge that connected you can later compete with you. Spiritual Dimension — Testing of Character and Truth Ziba once spoke for Mephibosheth. Later, he spoke against him. This reveals a spiritual truth: elevation exposes intentions. God allows moments where truth is tested, not to destroy us, but to refine discernment. Physical Dimension — Loss, Confusion, and Displacement Betrayal has practical consequences. Mephibosheth lost property, se...
