THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL PART 12: FINAL LAP: THE PROFITABLE LIFE — WHEN THE SOUL IS PRESERVED AND REWARDED Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  In Part 11, we stood before the eternal verdict. We learned that: Eternity reveals what life concealed. The verdict is based on response, not information. What you lived—not what you claimed—will speak. He managed life well… but neglected his soul. After all the warnings…after all the losses… after all the consequences…There is still a question: “ What does it mean to truly profit?”  Because not all profit is dangerous. There is a kind of gain…that heaven approves. A life where nothing essential is lost—and everything that matters is preserved. The Profitable Life — When The Soul Is Preserved And Rewarded A profitable life is not measured by how much you have…but by what you keep. It is a life where: Your soul is intact.  PART 7: THE CHAIN OF EVENTS: HOW ONE SMALL DECISION CAN SET A WHOLE DISASTER IN MOTION

Galatians 6:7

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows."

Recap of Part 6:

We learned that the final 30 minutes before a crash reveal what’s already in our hearts. Preparation before pressure is what determines whether we break or stand when crisis hits.

In aviation, most crashes aren’t caused by a single catastrophic failure. They’re usually the result of a chain of small events — a missed warning light, a delayed decision, a tiny oversight, a casual compromise — that eventually add up to tragedy.

Life works the same way.

Spiritually, neglecting prayer for “just a few days” can lead to weeks of spiritual dryness, making you vulnerable when temptation comes.

Physically, ignoring small lifestyle changes — drinking more water, stretching, sleeping early — can slowly push you toward burnout or illness.

Emotionally, letting little resentments stack up can explode into an outburst that damages relationships.

Relationally, repeatedly postponing important conversations can turn minor misunderstandings into full-blown conflicts.

💡Life Lesson:

Big failures are often the fruit of small, ignored seeds. Guard your small decisions — they are the hinges on which great doors swing.

Reflection:

What small habits in your life are creating a chain toward health and life?

What small compromises might be creating a chain toward disaster?

💥 Call to Action:

Identify one “small thing” in your life this week that you’ve been ignoring — and change it before it grows.

💬 Let’s Talk:

Can you recall a time when a small choice led to an unexpectedly big outcome?

How do you catch small issues before they become big disasters?

🙏Prayer

Lord, open my eyes to the chain of events in my own life. Help me break the cycles that lead to destruction and strengthen the ones that lead to life, peace, and Your glory. Amen.
