THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL PART 12: FINAL LAP: THE PROFITABLE LIFE — WHEN THE SOUL IS PRESERVED AND REWARDED Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  In Part 11, we stood before the eternal verdict. We learned that: Eternity reveals what life concealed. The verdict is based on response, not information. What you lived—not what you claimed—will speak. He managed life well… but neglected his soul. After all the warnings…after all the losses… after all the consequences…There is still a question: “ What does it mean to truly profit?”  Because not all profit is dangerous. There is a kind of gain…that heaven approves. A life where nothing essential is lost—and everything that matters is preserved. The Profitable Life — When The Soul Is Preserved And Rewarded A profitable life is not measured by how much you have…but by what you keep. It is a life where: Your soul is intact. THE BLACK BOX: FINDING THE TRUTH AFTER THE CRASH PART 6: THE FINAL 30 MINUTES: WHY THE LAST MOMENTS BEFORE IMPACT MATTER MOST

THE BLACK BOX: FINDING THE TRUTH AFTER THE CRASH
PART 6: THE FINAL 30 MINUTES: WHY THE LAST MOMENTS BEFORE IMPACT MATTER MOST

Ephesians 5:15-16

"Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil."

Recap of Part 5:

We saw how God is relentless in His search and recovery mission — not leaving your wreckage behind but actively seeking, rescuing, and restoring you, no matter how deep the ocean or dark the debris field.

When investigators analyze a black box, they pay special attention to the last 30 minutes before the crash.

That’s where the truth often hides — subtle mistakes, ignored warnings, frantic decisions, or heroic efforts.

In life, your “final moments” before a crisis can determine whether you crash or recover. These are the pressure points that reveal your habits, your values, and your anchors.

Spiritually, your final decisions before temptation either pull you closer to God or push you toward disaster.

Physically, last-minute health choices — skipping rest, ignoring pain — can trigger long-term consequences.

Emotionally, unchecked stress in crunch time can spill over into destructive reactions.

Relationally, words spoken in heated moments can either build bridges or burn them.

💡Life Lesson:

The last stretch matters because it magnifies what’s already in your heart. Preparation before the pressure is the key to surviving it.

Reflection

When life pressures you, what spills out — faith or fear, patience or panic?

What are you doing now to prepare for your “final 30 minutes” moments?

💥 Call to Action:

This week, track your reactions in small stressful moments. They’re practice runs for the bigger tests ahead.

💬 Let’s Talk:

What’s one “final 30 minutes” moment you wish you could redo?

How can preparation change the outcome of your next high-pressure situation?

🙏Prayer:

Lord, help me to live prepared, not just for the big moments but for the small choices that shape them. Fill me so much with Your Spirit that when pressure comes, Your nature overflows. Amen.
