THE REDEMPTIVE POWER OF GOD: ELISHA AND THE WIDOW'S JAR OF OIL PART 5: THE DISCIPLINE OF THE SECRET PLACE — WHEN MIRACLES REQUIRE CLOSED DOORS 2 KINGS 4:4-5 In Part 4, we learned that miracles often involve movement, obedience, and action. The widow was instructed to go out, borrow vessels, and gather what was needed. We saw that God’s instructions often require participation, and that obedience is a key that unlocks divine provision. Now the story moves from the outside world into the inside space of encounter. After the vessels were gathered, something very significant happens in the process of the miracle. The next instruction is not about movement—but about isolation. God begins to shift the widow from public obedience to private encounter. In 2 Kings 4:4-5, Elisha gives a new instruction: “ Go in and shut the door behind you and your sons … ” This moment is deeply spiritual. Before the oil flows, the door must be closed. 🩻 PART 8: THE DIVINE ULTRASOUND – WHAT ARE YOU CARRYING?


Luke 1:41

“When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.”


In our last session, we explored the Spirit’s Deep Scanner—where the Holy Spirit searches beyond the surface into the depths of our motives, wounds, and divine blueprints. Now, we shift to the divine ultrasound, where God reveals what you’re carrying—whether it’s promise or poison, vision or offense.

An ultrasound is used to detect growths or developments inside the body—whether a baby, a tumor, or other changes. Spiritually, God uses divine ultrasound to reveal what’s growing inside of us, whether it’s purpose or pride, vision or offense, faith or fear.


Sometimes we carry things that look small on the outside but are quietly shaping everything within.




🔍 Reflection

Both Mary and Elizabeth were carrying promises that would change the world. But not every pregnancy is from God. Just as we can carry divine assignments, we can also carry spiritual infections that were never meant to take root.


Ask yourself:


Am I nurturing God’s vision or something birthed in fear or ambition?


Have I accepted and fed lies, bitterness, or offense long enough to make them grow?


Is the thing growing in me God-ordained or self-initiated?



What you carry in your spirit will eventually be birthed in your actions.

It’s time for a divine ultrasound:


✅ Ask God to reveal what’s forming in you—desire, fear, calling, jealousy, or joy

✅ Let Him expose any illegitimate assignment or emotional tumor

✅ Choose to nurture what He’s planted and abort what the enemy introduced

Father, place Your divine ultrasound on my life. Reveal what I’m truly carrying. Expose every wrong seed—every fear, grudge, or unhealthy ambition. Let me nurture only what aligns with Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
