THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET

THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET Luke 5:6–7 “And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”  When Blessing Is Not the Final Destination In Part 1, we learned that empty seasons do not always mean failure. Peter and his companions toiled all night and caught nothing, yet that same moment of frustration became the setting for a divine encounter. We discovered that: God often visits people in seasons of exhaustion. Empty nets can prepare us for dependence on God. And one act of obedience can change everything. Peter’s failure was not the end — it was preparation for revelation. After a whole night of failure, the miracle finally came. The nets that were once empty suddenly became full. The boats that carried disappointment suddenly carried abundance. This was the biggest catch of Peter’s life. Yet something shocking happened: The miracle changed their condition temporarily, but it was not ...

WHILE WE WAIT, GOD IS WORKING
PART 7: GOD’S SILENT PREPARATIONS — THE RISE OF A DELIVERER

Isaiah 45:1-3

“For the LORD… says to Cyrus, his anointed… ‘I will go before you and will level the mountains… I will give you the treasures of darkness… so that you may know that I am the LORD.’”

Recap of Part 6

Last time, we saw how God’s promises are not just spiritual statements but strategic moves that unfold over time. We learned that delay doesn’t mean denial—it means God is still setting the stage.

While the Israelites wept by the rivers of Babylon, God was silently working in the background—raising Cyrus in Persia.

He was preparing a man named Cyrus—a future king—who would one day issue a decree to set the exiles free (Ezra 1:1–4).

Think about it—when Jeremiah sent his letter in chapter 29, Cyrus wasn’t even part of Babylon’s political radar. But God already had his file open in heaven.

This reminds us that sometimes our help is being prepared far from where our problem is. We may not see them, may not know their name, but God is grooming someone, somewhere, to be the answer to our prayers.

Balancing the Message

Spiritually – Trust that God works in ways you cannot see (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Physically – Keep building your skills, health, and capacity while you wait.

Emotionally – Don’t let present pain blind you to future hope.

Relationally – Keep a pure heart; the person God uses to help you might surprise you.

Reflection

If God could move a pagan king’s heart to free His people, He can move circumstances, governments, and even enemies for your sake. Your “Cyrus” may already be in training.

Call to Action

This week, make it part of your prayer life to intercede for your “Cyrus” — the person God will one day use to open the doors you’ve been waiting on.

Prayer

Lord, while I wait, I trust You are working. Today, I pray for the people You are raising to be part of my deliverance, restoration, and advancement. Bless them, guide them, and prepare their hearts for the mission You’ve assigned. Amen.
