THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET
Genesis 50:20
You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good…”
Every journey has its defining stretch—the point where the finish line is in sight but the terrain tests every ounce of your endurance. For Joseph, the “final lap” of his destiny wasn’t in a palace—it began in a pit.
Joseph’s story is a masterclass in God’s ability to turn adversity into advancement.
The Setup Through Envy: His brothers, driven by jealousy, stripped him of his coat and sold him as a slave. To them, it was an act of rejection. To God, it was the first step toward preservation.
The Training in Obscurity: In Potiphar’s house, Joseph learned management, leadership, and integrity—even when no one was watching. His excellence was building a resume for the palace.
The Injustice That Redirects: False accusations landed him in prison, but prison became the platform for interpreting dreams—connecting him to the very person who would recommend him to Pharaoh.
The Sudden Promotion: In a single day, Joseph went from prisoner to prime minister, positioned to save nations during famine.
The beauty of this story? The brothers’ envy—the very thing meant to destroy him—was God’s vehicle to get Joseph ahead of time into Egypt, ready for the moment the world would need him.
My True-Life Parallel:
Like Joseph, I’ve experienced moments when people’s envy, opposition, or misunderstanding pushed me into uncomfortable spaces. At the time, I questioned God’s plan. But looking back, I see how those “unfair” turns were divine positioning—moving me into circles, opportunities, and assignments I would never have reached otherwise. What felt like betrayal was actually acceleration.
Lesson:
The final lap often reveals that every pit, prison, and painful season was part of God’s blueprint. The pieces you didn’t understand suddenly fit together—and you realize He was never late; He was always ahead of time.
Reflection:
What “pit” are you in right now that might actually be part of your path? Are you willing to trust God’s timing even when the journey feels unfair?
Prayer:
Father, help me see beyond my present pain to Your greater plan. Give me faith to run my final laps with endurance, knowing that You waste nothing in my journey.
🏁 End of Series Teaser:
Every divine connection, every unexpected turn, every “Cyrus” in disguise—God has been weaving it all together. The race isn’t just about speed; it’s about trusting the One who mapped the course.
