THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET

THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET Luke 5:6–7 “And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”  When Blessing Is Not the Final Destination In Part 1, we learned that empty seasons do not always mean failure. Peter and his companions toiled all night and caught nothing, yet that same moment of frustration became the setting for a divine encounter. We discovered that: God often visits people in seasons of exhaustion. Empty nets can prepare us for dependence on God. And one act of obedience can change everything. Peter’s failure was not the end — it was preparation for revelation. After a whole night of failure, the miracle finally came. The nets that were once empty suddenly became full. The boats that carried disappointment suddenly carried abundance. This was the biggest catch of Peter’s life. Yet something shocking happened: The miracle changed their condition temporarily, but it was not ...

THE BLACK BOX: FINDING THE TRUTH AFTER THE CRASH PART 3: THE FLIGHT DATA RECORDER (FDR): YOUR LIFE’S HIDDEN METRICS

THE BLACK BOX: FINDING THE TRUTH AFTER THE CRASH
PART 3: THE FLIGHT DATA RECORDER (FDR): YOUR LIFE’S HIDDEN METRICS

Luke 8:17

"There is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open."

Recap of Part 2:

Last time, we explored how the black box survives the fire when everything else burns, showing that God can build you with a resilience that outlasts every storm.

When I learned about the flight data recorder — one part of the black box — I was stunned.

It records hundreds of details: altitude, speed, engine pressure, direction, even subtle changes in the pilot’s control inputs. All those tiny bits of data matter because they tell the real story of what led to the crash — or the safe landing.

It made me think: What’s my life’s flight data?

Not just the big events people notice, but the small, hidden choices shaping my journey.

Spiritually, your “data” is the time spent in the Word, the consistency of prayer, and the worship that happens when no one is watching.

Physically, it’s the sleep you get, the food you eat, and the way you treat your body when no one will check.

Emotionally, it’s how you process disappointment, handle stress, and guard your joy.

Relationally, it’s the tone you use with loved ones, the way you forgive or hold grudges, and how you handle boundaries.

Mentally, it’s the thoughts you nurture — whether they build you up or slowly tear you down.

Every day, your life is being recorded. And one day, God — the Master Investigator-will open that “flight data” to reveal the truth.

💡Life Lesson:

You can’t fake your data.

You can smile in public but be recording bitterness in private. You can post Bible verses online but record zero personal time in God’s presence. The recorder tells the truth.

Reflection:

If your life’s “recorder” were played back today, would it reveal hidden habits that fuel growth, or patterns that lead to spiritual, physical, or emotional turbulence?

💥 Call to Action:

Pick one area (spiritual, physical, emotional, relational, or mental) and track your “data” for the next 7 days. Be honest with yourself and take one practical step to improve it.

💬 Let’s Talk:

Which of your “data points” do you think God is highlighting right now?

Have you noticed small daily habits that affect the direction of your life?

🙏Prayer

Lord, help me align my hidden habits with Your truth. May my life’s data be pleasing to You, not just in public but in the private places of my heart. Amen.
