THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET

THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET Luke 5:6–7 “And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”  When Blessing Is Not the Final Destination In Part 1, we learned that empty seasons do not always mean failure. Peter and his companions toiled all night and caught nothing, yet that same moment of frustration became the setting for a divine encounter. We discovered that: God often visits people in seasons of exhaustion. Empty nets can prepare us for dependence on God. And one act of obedience can change everything. Peter’s failure was not the end — it was preparation for revelation. After a whole night of failure, the miracle finally came. The nets that were once empty suddenly became full. The boats that carried disappointment suddenly carried abundance. This was the biggest catch of Peter’s life. Yet something shocking happened: The miracle changed their condition temporarily, but it was not ...

DON'T WASTE YOUR WAITING. PART 2: MOUNTING UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES - STRENGTH RENEWAL

DON'T WASTE YOUR WAITING.
PART 2: MOUNTING UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES - STRENGTH RENEWAL

Isaiah 40:31a

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength…”

Recap of Part 1

Last time in Part 1, we learned that waiting is not passive idleness but active readiness — just like the attentive waiter at Mukase Restaurant in Koforidua, who stayed close, alert, and ready to serve. Waiting well means you are positioned for purpose, prepared to respond, and in tune with the One you serve.

Today, we move into the first promise in Isaiah 40:31 — strength renewal.

Spiritually — Strength for the Inner Man

Waiting on God is like plugging your soul into a divine charging port.

Prayer: builds spiritual stamina. Even short, consistent prayers keep your spirit strong.

Word meditation: reprograms your mind with God’s truth.

Worship: lifts your heart above weariness.

Just like your phone’s battery won’t last forever if not charged, your spirit will drain without intentional connection to God. Waiting season is your charging season — not for scrolling endlessly through frustration, but for absorbing heaven’s power.

Physically — Rest and Recovery

Waiting is also God’s way of giving your body a breather. Sometimes strength renewal means learning to:

Sleep well instead of burning out.

Eat nourishing food instead of fast, constant junk.

Exercise gently to maintain energy flow.

Think of athletes: they rest strategically to gain more power for the next sprint. Without the rest phase, they’d collapse mid-race.

Mentally & Emotionally — Rewiring Your Resilience

Life’s battles are not only fought with muscles; they’re fought with mindsets. Waiting periods give you space to:

Break toxic thought patterns.

Develop patience.

Release bitterness or anxiety.

This is mental detox — clearing your inner space so new strength can fill you.

Reflection

Your waiting is God’s strengthening gym. Every moment you stay plugged into Him, you’re building reserves you’ll need for the next phase. Don’t waste it on complaints — invest it in preparation.

Call to Action

Ask yourself today:

🔹 Am I connecting to God’s power source daily?

🔹 Am I using this season to build my spiritual, physical, and mental energy?

Take one small but consistent step toward strength renewal this week.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the promise of renewed strength. Teach me to use my waiting season as a time to recharge my spirit, restore my body, and refresh my mind. Amen.
