THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET

THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET Luke 5:6–7 “And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”  When Blessing Is Not the Final Destination In Part 1, we learned that empty seasons do not always mean failure. Peter and his companions toiled all night and caught nothing, yet that same moment of frustration became the setting for a divine encounter. We discovered that: God often visits people in seasons of exhaustion. Empty nets can prepare us for dependence on God. And one act of obedience can change everything. Peter’s failure was not the end — it was preparation for revelation. After a whole night of failure, the miracle finally came. The nets that were once empty suddenly became full. The boats that carried disappointment suddenly carried abundance. This was the biggest catch of Peter’s life. Yet something shocking happened: The miracle changed their condition temporarily, but it was not ...

WHILE WE WAIT, GOD IS WORKING PART 4: PROSPER WHERE YOU’RE PLANTED

WHILE WE WAIT, GOD IS WORKING
PART 4: PROSPER WHERE YOU’RE PLANTED

Jeremiah 29:7

“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile.

Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”

🔁 Recap of Part 3 – You Are Not a Victim

In Part 3, we learned that exile doesn’t mean abandonment. God sent them there for a purpose. You're not a victim of chaos; you are planted for divine transformation—even in hard places.

💡Message:

God, why here? Why now?”

That’s often the cry of the exiled heart. But in verse 7, God drops a surprising instruction: “Seek the peace and prosperity of Babylon.” What?

Yes. God told His people to pray for the very place that held them captive.

God didn’t say, “Wait until you return to Jerusalem to live well.”

He said, “Prosper where you’re planted.”

Even if it's Babylon. Even if it’s uncomfortable. Even if it feels like delay.

🔍 Spiritual Lesson:

Prayer is a weapon and a seed.

Your intercession affects your environment. When you pray for the city, the system, your workplace, your school—even the people you don’t like—you release the peace of God into the very place you’re waiting.

Joseph prospered in prison. Daniel was promoted in Babylon. You too can flourish in your “foreign land.”

🧠 Practical Life Insight:

Build habits where you are: journal, save, build discipline.

Don’t wait for “Jerusalem” to be excellent. Start learning, serving, and creating now.

Your prosperity in Babylon is a testimony to the God who planted you there.

🙏🏽 Prayer

Lord, help me not to waste this season. Teach me to pray for the places I’d rather escape from. Let my presence bring peace, and let my obedience produce prosperity—even here.

🔜 Teaser for Part 5 – “A God Who Keeps Calendars”

We’ll explore why God told them it would take 70 years before their breakthrough—and how that speaks to divine timing in your life.

What if God’s delay is your development?
