THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET

THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 2 — THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED NOTHING… YET Luke 5:6–7 “And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”  When Blessing Is Not the Final Destination In Part 1, we learned that empty seasons do not always mean failure. Peter and his companions toiled all night and caught nothing, yet that same moment of frustration became the setting for a divine encounter. We discovered that: God often visits people in seasons of exhaustion. Empty nets can prepare us for dependence on God. And one act of obedience can change everything. Peter’s failure was not the end — it was preparation for revelation. After a whole night of failure, the miracle finally came. The nets that were once empty suddenly became full. The boats that carried disappointment suddenly carried abundance. This was the biggest catch of Peter’s life. Yet something shocking happened: The miracle changed their condition temporarily, but it was not ...

DON'T WASTE YOUR WAITING. PART 8: WHEN THE CONNECTION SPEAKS

DON'T WASTE YOUR WAITING.
PART 8: WHEN THE CONNECTION SPEAKS

John 10:27

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

Recap of Part 7

We saw that availability is more important than ability. God uses those who show up, stay open to His interruptions, and are present for others in their low seasons.

Sometimes, the turning point in your journey comes not when you speak, but when you listen. Divine connections are not just relationships—they are also channels through which God sends instruction, correction, and confirmation. The difference between seizing your moment and missing it often lies in your ability to recognize and respond when the connection speaks.

1) God’s Voice Through People (Spiritual)

God rarely sends angels with glowing robes; He often speaks through the counsel of your divine connections.

Samuel guided Saul into kingship; Elizabeth confirmed Mary’s calling.

Ignoring such voices can delay your destiny.

2) The Art of Discernment (Emotional/Mental)

Not every voice deserves your obedience, but wisdom demands you weigh their words in prayer.

Ask: Does this align with God’s Word? Does it confirm what He’s already been speaking to me?

Discernment keeps you from being misled or manipulated.

3) The Courage to Respond (Physical)

Hearing is one thing; acting on what you hear is another.

Naaman almost missed his healing because the instruction didn’t match his expectations—but obedience unlocked his miracle.

4) The Trust Factor (Relational/Social)

Trust is the bridge between hearing and obeying.

When your divine connection has proven character, you can receive even hard truths without offense.

Balanced Life Application

Spiritual: Pray for a listening heart that can recognize God’s voice through your connections.

Physical: Write down actionable steps when you receive divine counsel, and follow through.

Emotional/Mental: Learn to silence inner noise so you can listen clearly.

Relational/Social: Nurture trust in your divine connections—mutual respect makes listening easier.

Reflection

Do I truly believe God can speak to me through others?

Have I ignored any recent instructions because they didn’t suit my preferences?

Prayer

Lord, train my ears to hear You, even when Your voice comes through unexpected people. Give me humility to listen, wisdom to discern, and boldness to obey. Amen.

  1. God bless you. The lesson I got from today's message is that, obedience to God's word, through His trusted counsel (our spiritual leaders) and discernment unlocks blessings.
