THE GREAT CHEF: WHEN GOD COOKS

PART 7: THE FINAL LAP — WHEN GOD SERVES YOUR STORY

In Part 6, we entered the furnace with Job and the ingredient of pressure. We learned that: Pressure may touch everything around you, but not what God is preserving within you. Silence is not absence — it is part of God’s process. Not all suffering is punishment; some is preparation. And restoration comes after refinement.

Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him…” (Job 13:15)

The Lord restored…” (Job 42:10)

Now we arrive at the table. The final stage. The moment when God serves what He has been cooking all along.

Every process has an end. Every kitchen has a serving moment.. Every chef eventually presents the meal. What once looked: Bitter becomes beautiful. Delayed becomes defined. Broken becomes built. Rejected becomes revealed. Hidden becomes honored. Now the story is ready.

God Never Wastes Ingredients

Looking back over the journey: Betrayal shaped Joseph. Rejection shaped Jephthah. Delay shaped David. Detour shaped Moses. Pressure shaped Job. Nothing was wasted. Not one season. Not one tear. Not one delay. “And we know that all things work together…” (Romans 8:28)

The Chef never discards ingredients He selects.

The Same People Who Saw You Broken Will See You Built

Joseph stood before Pharaoh. The same Joseph: Who was betrayed. Who was forgotten. Who was imprisoned. Now speaks with authority. “Can we find such a one as this?” (Genesis 41:38)

David, once in caves, now in crowns.. Jephthah, once rejected, now leading Israel. Moses, once a fugitive, now confronting Pharaoh. Job, once stripped, now restored double. This is the rhythm of God: He transforms observers into witnesses.

God’s Timing Is the Final Ingredient

Everything God does is timed. Not rushed. Not delayed. Not confused. “To everything there is a season…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

If it came too early: It could destroy you. If it came too late: It could discourage you. But when God serves it: It sustains you. Perfect timing is part of the recipe.

What Was Meant to Break You Becomes What Blesses You

The pit becomes testimony. The rejection becomes strength. The delay becomes wisdom. The detour becomes direction. The pressure becomes endurance. “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good…” (Genesis 50:20)

The same ingredients the enemy used for destruction. Become evidence of divine design.

When God Serves Your Story, Even Enemies Will Recognize It

There is a moment in destiny when explanation is no longer needed. Because evidence speaks louder than explanation. People will look at your life and say: “This was not man’s doing.”

This can only be God.” “The Lord has done great things for us…” (Psalm 126:3)

Your life becomes a testimony plate. A display of grace.

Final Revelation

God does not just save you from things… He prepares you through things. And when He finishes cooking: Nothing is missing. Nothing is wasted. Nothing is accidental. Everything becomes a testimony.

Reflection

Ask yourself:

Can I now see God’s hand in every season of my life?

Am I still resisting any ingredient God used?

Am I ready to be served as a testimony?

Call To Action

This week:

Write down your full journey (pain + progress)

Identify how God used each season.

Declare boldly:

My life is proof that God wastes nothing.”

Stop rejecting your story.

It is part of the meal.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for every season of my life. For betrayal, rejection, delay, detours, and pressure — I see Your hand. Heal my heart from what I misunderstood. Help me embrace what You were building in me. And as You serve my story, let it bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Final Word

Beloved… The Great Chef has finished cooking. And when God serves your life…Even those who doubted you Will sit down to taste the evidence.
