BEYOND EHUD: THE LEFT-HANDED WARRIORS OF BENJAMIN PART 2: THE 700 WARRIORS GOD TRAINED Judges 20:16 (NLT) "Among Benjamin's elite troops were 700 select left-handed warriors, each of whom could sling a stone and hit a target within a hair's breadth, without missing." In Part 1, we discovered that the tribe of Benjamin, whose name means " Son of the Right Hand, " became known for producing left-handed warriors. We learned that God often uses what people overlook and that our differences can become instruments in His hands when surrendered to Him. Today, we move from their identity to their preparation. The Bible does not simply tell us that there were 700 left-handed men. It describes them as elite troops . This means they were not ordinary soldiers. They were carefully selected, highly trained, and exceptionally skilled. Their effectiveness was not merely the result of natural ability. It was the product of discipline. DEALING WITH DIABETIC WOUNDS – A BALANCED DEVOTIONAL SERIES PART 3: THE COST Of DELAY – PROCRASTINATION IS DANGEROUS

DEALING WITH DIABETIC WOUNDS – A BALANCED DEVOTIONAL SERIES

PART 3: THE COST Of DELAY – PROCRASTINATION IS DANGEROUS

Galatians 6:7

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows."

Recap of Part 2: The Danger of Covering Up Wounds – Quick Fixes Don’t Work

In Part 2, we reflected on the danger of covering up our wounds. We saw how quick fixes—like the diabetic man using Vaseline—only worsen the problem. True healing begins when we confront the truth with honesty and take responsible steps toward restoration.

Sometimes it’s not that we’re unaware of the wound—we just keep putting off dealing with it. We say, “Tomorrow.” But tomorrow has a cost. Delayed obedience is still disobedience. The diabetic man knew something was wrong, but he delayed seeking help until it was too late. His leg paid the price. Many of us are paying for our delays in ways we can’t afford.

Key Scripture:

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." – Galatians 6:7

LIFE APPLICATION:

By the time the man sought medical help, his leg had to be amputated. Had he acted sooner, he could have saved it.

Delaying action leads to serious consequences:

Physically: Postponing exercise or medical checkups leads to chronic diseases.

Academically: Procrastinating on assignments leads to failure.

Spiritually: Ignoring prayer and devotion weakens faith.

Leadership: Delaying reforms allows corruption to spread.

Educational & Career Insight:

Successful people act early:

Students who prepare daily perform better than last-minute learners.

Leaders who address issues quickly prevent national disasters.

Entrepreneurs who adjust to change early avoid financial ruin.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

1. What areas of your life have suffered because of delay?

2. What urgent action can you take today?

Do not delay! Choose one area of your life where you’ve been procrastinating and take action today.

PRAYER:

Lord, give me the courage to act immediately where change is needed. Let me not delay in doing what is right. Amen.

📌Let’s Talk:

Can you think of a time when procrastination cost you something important? What did you learn from it? How has this part of the series encouraged you to act swiftly? Share your thoughts, lessons, or testimonies—we sharpen one another through real stories.

Thank you!
