THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL PART 12: FINAL LAP: THE PROFITABLE LIFE — WHEN THE SOUL IS PRESERVED AND REWARDED Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  In Part 11, we stood before the eternal verdict. We learned that: Eternity reveals what life concealed. The verdict is based on response, not information. What you lived—not what you claimed—will speak. He managed life well… but neglected his soul. After all the warnings…after all the losses… after all the consequences…There is still a question: “ What does it mean to truly profit?”  Because not all profit is dangerous. There is a kind of gain…that heaven approves. A life where nothing essential is lost—and everything that matters is preserved. The Profitable Life — When The Soul Is Preserved And Rewarded A profitable life is not measured by how much you have…but by what you keep. It is a life where: Your soul is intact. Your alignment is consisten...

THE UNSTAINED GARMENT: CHOOSING PURITY OVER COMPROMISE PART 4

Revelation 3:4-5

4. “Yet there are some in the church in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes with evil. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

5. All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine

Welcome to Part 4 of our series, The Unstained Garment: Choosing Purity Over Compromise.

In this chapter, we’ll uncover how the ermine’s commitment to its spotless coat was tested by hunters and how its actions reveal a profound lesson for us as Christians.

The Ermine: A Creature That Valued Purity Above Life

During my research, I discovered how hunters cleverly used the ermine’s commitment to its spotless coat to capture it. The hunters would locate the ermine’s den and smear its entrance with mud and filth while the animal was away. Then they would release their dogs to chase the ermine, forcing it to run back to its home.

Exhausted and desperate, the ermine would finally arrive at its den, only to find the entrance covered in dirt. Faced with a choice, the ermine did something extraordinary. Rather than dirty its beautiful white coat by entering its filthy den, it would remain outside—even if it meant surrendering to the hunters.

The ermine valued its purity so much that it would rather lose its life than stain its coat. This incredible act of sacrifice has made the ermine a timeless symbol of purity and determination. It teaches us that there are things in life worth protecting at all costs—our spiritual purity being one of the most important.

As I reflected on this story, the Holy Spirit ministered to me about the significance of keeping our spiritual “garments” clean. Like the ermine, we are called to protect the righteousness that Christ has given us. Through this revelation, God gave me the message: The Unstained Garment: Choosing Purity Over Compromise. The ermine’s unwavering resolve challenges us to stand firm in our faith and to value our purity above everything else.

The ermine’s refusal to compromise reminds us that true purity is non-negotiable. As Christians, we must resist anything that threatens to stain our spiritual lives, no matter the pressure we face.

REFLECTION:

What areas of your life are currently being tested by compromise? Are you willing to take a stand like the ermine, even when it’s uncomfortable or costly? Take a moment to assess the condition of your spiritual garment—are there hidden stains God is calling you to wash away?

Today, make a conscious choice to protect your purity. Avoid conversations, habits, and environments that stain your soul. Declare this: “I will not trade my righteousness for temporary relief.” Walk boldly in purity and encourage someone around you to do the same.

PRAYER:

Lord, teach me to treasure spiritual purity above all else and give me the strength to stand firm, no matter the cost. Amen.
