THE SCHOOL OF CHRISTIAN LIVING PART 4: SPEECH & COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT — WHEN YOUR MOUTH TAKES THE EXAM
THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL
PART 11: THE ETERNAL VERDICT — WHEN THE SOUL FINDS ITS FINAL PLACE
Matthew 25:46
“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”
In Part 10, we confronted the urgency of the Second Coming. We learned that: Time is limited and cannot be assumed. Delay is dangerous. The return of Jesus Christ will be sudden and final. The greatest mistake is not saying no… it is saying “later.”
There is something beyond the return. Beyond the separation. Beyond the end of time. It is the verdict. Not a suggestion. Not an opinion. But a final, irreversible decision. And in that moment… the question is no longer: “What did you gain?” But: “Where does your soul belong?”
The Eternal Verdict — When The Soul Finds Its Final Place
Eternity is not one place. It is a destination determined. A conclusion drawn from a life lived. A verdict based on alignment, not appearance. Because at that point: Excuses have no voice. Intentions have no weight. Appearances have no value. Only truth remains. What you truly were… is what will be revealed.
The Two Records
There was a man who lived a well-structured life. He planned carefully. Worked diligently. Built consistently. He was respected—known as disciplined and successful. But spiritually, he was distant. Not openly rebellious… just disconnected. He believed in God, but never fully yielded. He heard truth, but never responded completely. And then… his life ended. He stood in a place where nothing could be hidden. No titles. No achievements. No reputation. Only record. Not what people saw…but what was true. Every decision. Every compromise. Every delay. And in that moment, it became clear: He had managed life well… but neglected his soul. And the verdict reflected it. Not harshly. Not unfairly. But accurately.
Because eternity does not misunderstand you… it reveals you.
What Really Happened?
The man did not lack knowledge. He lacked response. This is the reality of the eternal verdict: It is not based on what you heard It is based on what you did with what you heard He gained structure…but lost surrender. He gained discipline…but lost devotion. He gained control over life…but lost connection with God.
And in eternity, information without transformation does not stand.
The Deep Truth
Many people are not ignorant…They are unresponsive. They hear. They know. They understand. But they delay, adjust, or ignore. And what is ignored in time… is revealed in eternity.
Reflection
Ask yourself:
Am I just hearing truth… or responding to it?
What do my daily choices say about my eternal direction?
If my life is reviewed truthfully… what will it reveal?
Because the final verdict will not be based on what you claimed…but on what you lived.
Call to Action
Respond while you still can. Don’t just hear—act. Don’t just know—align
Don’t just believe—follow. Let your life reflect a soul that is prepared, not just informed.
Because when the verdict comes…it will be final.
Prayer
Lord, help me not just to hear Your truth, but to respond to it. Where I have delayed, awaken me. Where I have known but not acted, strengthen me. Let my life reflect true alignment with You, so that my soul will stand in that day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
