THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL

PART 10: THE SECOND COMING — WHEN TIME RUNS OUT

Revelation 1:7

“Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him…”

In Part 9, we faced the reality of the great separation. We learned that: Everything you gain on earth will stay behind. Only your soul crosses into eternity. What you prioritized in life determines where you stand after. When the separation happens… only your soul continues.

There is one event that will end every argument…silence every excuse…and settle every question. The return of Jesus Christ.

Not a story. Not a theory. Not a distant idea. A reality. And when it happens…time will not pause. It will end.

The Second Coming — When Time Runs Out

Right now, there is time. Time to adjust. Time to return. Time to realign. But there is coming a moment when: Time will no longer be available. Opportunities will no longer exist. Decisions will no longer be reversible. Because the return of Christ is not just an event…It is the closing of the door.

The Delay

Kojo always believed he had time. He wasn’t against God. He just wasn’t ready to fully commit. “I’ll get serious later,” he would say. “Let me settle a few things first.” “There’s still time.” And life moved on.

Opportunities came. Success grew. Life expanded. But his spiritual life stayed on hold. Conviction came—but he delayed. Moments came—but he postponed. Until one day…Everything changed. Not gradually. Not predictably. Suddenly.

The moment he always assumed was far…was now present. And in that instant, one realization struck him: The time he thought he had… was gone. No preparation. No adjustment. No second chance. Just reality. Because delay does not stop time… it only wastes it.

What Really Happened?

Kojo didn’t reject God. He postponed Him. And that is one of the most dangerous decisions a person can make.

Because: You can intend to change… and never do it. You can plan to return… and never arrive. You can assume time… and run out of it. He gained time for himself…but lost time with God. He gained space for other things…but lost readiness. Because the greatest mistake is not saying no to God…it is saying “later.”

The Urgent Truth

Many are living like Kojo: Delaying obedience. Postponing surrender. Assuming tomorrow. But the return of Jesus Christ will not be scheduled around your readiness. It will come… whether you are prepared or not.

Reflection

Ask yourself:

What am I postponing that I should be addressing now?

Am I truly ready… or just assuming I have time?

If today was that day… where would I stand?

Because tomorrow is not promised…and eternity cannot be postponed.

Call to Action

Do not delay.

Return now

Realign now

Respond now

Don’t wait for a more convenient time.

Don’t assume a later opportunity.

Because when time runs out…only what you did with your soul will matter.

Prayer

Lord, help me not to delay what matters most. Where I have postponed my response to You, awaken me. Give me the urgency to act now and the wisdom to prepare for eternity. Let my life reflect readiness, not assumption. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Part 11: The Eternal Verdict — When the Soul Finds Its Final Place

After the return… after time runs out… there is something final:

The verdict.

In the next part, we will confront the moment where eternity is no longer a possibility… but a reality already decided.

Where excuses end.

Where truth is revealed.

And where every soul finds its final place.

God is speaking… are you listening?
