THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL PART 12: FINAL LAP: THE PROFITABLE LIFE — WHEN THE SOUL IS PRESERVED AND REWARDED
π Job 28:7–8
“There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen:
The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.”
In Part 4, we explored the virgin path — untouched, sacred, and reserved for those who walk in purity, obedience, and humility. Today, we examine how redemption positions us to walk fully in this path, allowing God to lead in every area of life.
The redeemed are those who have experienced God’s mercy and grace, turning from self-reliance to full dependence on Him. Redemption restores the ability to follow God’s hidden and holy paths.
It transforms how we approach spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, and social areas of life.
Psalm 25:9 says:
“The meek He will guide in judgment, and the meek He will teach His way.”
Redemption aligns our heart, mind, and strength to God’s direction.
Walking the Redeemed Path in All Dimensions
1. Spiritual
The redeemed have access to God’s wisdom and guidance. Redemption allows us to see beyond natural limitations and trust His Spirit for direction. Spiritual growth comes from surrender and obedience, not human effort.
2. Physical
Redemption affects our stewardship of the body: Care, discipline, and honoring God with our physical actions open doors to His path. Avoiding harmful habits and distractions ensures our energy aligns with God’s plan.
3. Emotional
The redeemed gain emotional freedom:
Forgiveness and grace heal wounds that block clarity. Emotional maturity and peace allow us to respond to life and God’s guidance with wisdom.
4. Mental
Redemption restores clarity of thought:
We see situations through God’s perspective.
Mental purity — rejecting worldly deception and focusing on divine truth — empowers decision-making.
5. Social / Relational
God positions the redeemed with the right relationships: Mentors, peers, and companions who encourage faith, obedience, and integrity. Alignment with God’s community strengthens discernment and accountability.
Illustration
A vineyard, once neglected, is redeemed and cultivated. The soil, though previously barren, is now fertile for fruit. In the same way, redemption prepares our life — spirit, body, mind, emotions, and relationships — to fully walk in God’s virgin path, bearing fruit where no one else has gone.
Reflection Questions
How has redemption changed the way I approach God’s guidance?
Which areas of my life (spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, social) are fully aligned with God’s leading?
Am I allowing grace to guide me where I cannot see?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for redeeming me and restoring my steps to Your hidden and holy path. Align my spirit, body, mind, emotions, and relationships to Your direction. Lead me where only the redeemed can walk, and give me the meekness to follow Your guidance. Help me trust Your wisdom beyond what my eyes can see. I surrender fully—guide me on the virgin path You have prepared for my life. Amen.
