THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL PART 12: FINAL LAP: THE PROFITABLE LIFE — WHEN THE SOUL IS PRESERVED AND REWARDED Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  In Part 11, we stood before the eternal verdict. We learned that: Eternity reveals what life concealed. The verdict is based on response, not information. What you lived—not what you claimed—will speak. He managed life well… but neglected his soul. After all the warnings…after all the losses… after all the consequences…There is still a question: “ What does it mean to truly profit?”  Because not all profit is dangerous. There is a kind of gain…that heaven approves. A life where nothing essential is lost—and everything that matters is preserved. The Profitable Life — When The Soul Is Preserved And Rewarded A profitable life is not measured by how much you have…but by what you keep. It is a life where: Your soul is intact. Your alignment is consisten...

🌿 THE VIRGIN PATH: WALKING THE WAY NO FOOT HAS TRODDEN
PART 2 — THE FLYING CREATURES: THE LIMIT OF LOFTY VISION

πŸ“– Job 28:7–8

“There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen:

The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.”

In Part 1, we discovered the hidden path — a road revealed only by God, untouched by human strength or wisdom, and affecting every dimension of life. Today, we explore why even the highest flight doesn’t guarantee seeing the way God has prepared.

Birds soar in the sky with a vantage point far beyond what humans can see. Vultures scan vast landscapes, fowl navigate with precision — yet Job tells us:

No fowl knoweth, and the vulture’s eye hath not seen” this path.

Even creatures designed to fly high and see far cannot detect God’s hidden ways. This reminds us that spiritual elevation, intelligence, and vision alone cannot replace revelation.

Flying High Doesn’t Equal Walking Right

1. Spiritual

Lofty visions or spiritual experiences alone do not guarantee insight. You may pray, fast, or attend conferences, but without intimacy with God, the path remains unseen.

Revelation comes not from activity, but from alignment with God’s Spirit.

πŸ“– 1 Corinthians 2:9–10 — “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard… but God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit.”

2. Physical

Flying high may represent achievement and mobility in life: career growth, recognition, or material success. These can elevate status but not reveal destiny. God’s hidden paths may require slowing down, pausing, or making choices that seem counterintuitive to worldly advancement.

3. Emotional

Ambition and pride can blind the heart.

You might feel confident, capable, or in control — yet miss God’s way.

Emotional humility is essential to see what’s hidden. James 4:6 — “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

4. Mental

Vision and intellect are limited. Sharp eyes and brilliant minds can chart landscapes and plan strategies, but divine paths require listening to God. Relying solely on reasoning can lead to detours, even when you seem “high above” the crowd.

5. Social / Relational

High-flying success can attract followers, fans, or friends, but not all relationships are aligned with your destiny. Some people may admire your elevation but cannot see the path God has for you. God often guides through subtle counsel from those who walk in His Spirit.

Illustration

Imagine an eagle soaring over mountains. It sees far, yet it cannot detect a hidden valley tucked between cliffs. Only someone walking the valley floor — step by step, guided by God — discovers the secret stream or treasure within.

The lesson: spiritual and natural heights are helpful, but revelation comes from God alone.

Reflection Questions

Are there areas where I rely on vision, intelligence, or position more than God’s revelation?

How can I cultivate humility to see God’s hidden paths?

Which areas of my life (spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, social) need surrender to God’s guidance?

Prayer:

Father, open my eyes to the path no fowl knows and no vulture has seen. Deliver me from relying on vision, achievement, or strength, and teach me to depend fully on Your Spirit. Give me humility where pride rises, clarity where my thoughts cloud Your voice, and alignment where my steps wander. Lead me into the hidden ways You have prepared, and help me walk not by height, but by revelation. Amen.

Next Up — Part 3: The Walking Creatures — The Limit of Strength and Dominion.

Even the fiercest lions cannot tread God’s virgin path. In Part 3, we’ll explore why human power, influence, or authority alone cannot unlock the destiny He has prepared.
