THE REDEMPTIVE POWER OF GOD: ELISHA AND THE WIDOW'S JAR OF OIL PART 5: THE DISCIPLINE OF THE SECRET PLACE — WHEN MIRACLES REQUIRE CLOSED DOORS 2 KINGS 4:4-5 In Part 4, we learned that miracles often involve movement, obedience, and action. The widow was instructed to go out, borrow vessels, and gather what was needed. We saw that God’s instructions often require participation, and that obedience is a key that unlocks divine provision.  ⭐⭐⭐⭐ PART 4 – STAR OF SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

Acts 19:15

“Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

After walking in faithfulness, serving others, and growing in maturity, God now calls us to the Star of Spiritual Authority. Just as a general gains respect, influence, and command through experience and victories, believers earn spiritual authority by overcoming challenges, standing firm in faith, and exercising godly influence.

Devotional Thought: Authority in All Dimensions

Spiritual authority is the ability to influence, lead, and stand firm in God’s kingdom. It touches every area of life:

Spiritual:

Standing firm in prayer and God’s Word during spiritual battles. Exercising discernment to identify and overcome deception, temptation, or attacks.

Physical:

Maintaining discipline, health, and endurance to handle life’s challenges. Demonstrating control over the body as a reflection of spiritual strength.

Mental:

Thinking strategically and making wise decisions under pressure. Exercising clarity, focus, and emotional intelligence when leading or mentoring others.

Social:

Leading with integrity, humility, and influence in relationships, workplaces, and communities. Supporting, mentoring, and guiding others toward growth and godliness.

Emotional:

Remaining composed, patient, and resilient in stressful or challenging situations. Influencing others positively through emotional maturity and self-control.

Spiritual authority is earned, not demanded. It comes through faithfulness, service, and maturity, and is strengthened by victories over trials, temptations, and opposition.
