THE UNPROFITABLE PROFIT: GAINS THAT BANKRUPT THE SOUL PART 12: FINAL LAP: THE PROFITABLE LIFE — WHEN THE SOUL IS PRESERVED AND REWARDED Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  In Part 11, we stood before the eternal verdict. We learned that: Eternity reveals what life concealed. The verdict is based on response, not information. What you lived—not what you claimed—will speak. He managed life well… but neglected his soul. After all the warnings…after all the losses… after all the consequences…There is still a question: “ What does it mean to truly profit?”  Because not all profit is dangerous. There is a kind of gain…that heaven approves. A life where nothing essential is lost—and everything that matters is preserved. The Profitable Life — When The Soul Is Preserved And Rewarded A profitable life is not measured by how much you have…but by what you keep. It is a life where: Your soul is intact. Your alignment is consisten...

PART 4: INFLUENCE — STEWARDSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY & LEGACY

Matthew 25:14–30, 1 Corinthians 4:2, Luke 16:10

In Part 3, we discovered that sharing is the multiplication principle of the Kingdom.

We learned:

Kingdom growth happens when what God gives you is shared. Our influence is meant for stewardship, not personal glory.

Silence preserves, but sharing multiplies.

Sharing begins with courage and consistency.

Today, we advance from sharing to how influence must be stewarded responsibly.

1. Spiritual: Influence Is A Divine Assignment

Every believer has influence — some visible, some invisible. God entrusts influence to us as a spiritual responsibility, not a reward.

Jesus said:

Faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.”

Spiritual principle:

Influence is given to test faithfulness.

Multiplication requires obedience.

Stewardship precedes expansion.

Reflection:

How are you using the influence God has placed around you — in your family, friends, or community?

2. Natural: Influence Requires Accountability

In everyday life:

Leaders are followed naturally.

Followers imitate behaviors.

Reputation spreads faster than talent.

Naturally:

Misused influence destroys trust

Mismanaged platforms waste opportunity

Lesson:

Who you allow to influence you affects the influence you release.

3. Social: Influence Builds Or Breaks Culture

Socially, your influence is contagious.

Your words shape conversations.

Your actions set norms.

Your decisions create ripple effects.

Social principle:

Influence multiplies righteousness or compromises culture

Silence in key moments is a message

Challenge:

Are you building a social environment that points to Christ, or one that points to self?

4. Economic: Influence Attracts Resources

Influence drives opportunity:

People invest in credible leaders.

Resources flow where trust and alignment exist. Platforms grow when used responsibly

Economically:

Stewarded influence brings provision and impact. Hoarded influence attracts stagnation.

Kingdom insight:

Multiply your influence with honesty and integrity; God will multiply your results.

5. Emotional: Influence Requires Emotional Maturity

Influence is emotionally demanding:

People will test your patience

People will imitate your flaws

People will celebrate or criticize your choices

Maturity allows you to:

Lead without arrogance

Guide without controlling

Empower without fear

Reflection:

Are your emotions guiding your influence, or is your influence guiding your emotions?

6. Legacy: Influence Outlives You

Your influence is not temporary:

It shapes the next generation.

It impacts communities.

It determines who carries your values forward.

Kingdom principle:

“What you do with influence today shapes eternity.”

Key Truths

Influence is a gift, not a right

Stewardship precedes multiplication

Accountability ensures sustainability

Legacy is the ultimate fruit of influence

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the influence You have placed in my life. Help me to see it as a trust, not a title. Teach me to be faithful with the little You have given me. Give me wisdom to use my voice, my actions, and my platforms rightly. Keep my heart humble, my motives pure, and my emotions guided by Your Spirit. Let my influence build people, honor You, and leave a legacy that glorifies Your name. Use my life to reflect Christ today and impact generations tomorrow. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Stay tuned for Part 5, where we talk about notifications!

John the Baptist was the ultimate notification of his time, preparing hearts for Jesus. God still uses alerts today — people, circumstances, His Word — to keep His plan moving. Ignoring these alerts is like muting God’s notifications, and it can be dangerous for your destiny.

Don’t miss Part 5!
