They thought he might be using the latrine in the room. So they waited. But when the king didn't come out after a long delay, they became concerned and got a key. And when they opened the doors, they found their master dead on the floor." In Part 8, we learned that after carrying out God's assignment, Ehud closed and locked the doors before making his escape. We learned that victory over the flesh requires decisive obedience and that God's Word cuts away everything that stands against His purpose. But the story does not end with Eglon's fall.
