They sheltered the broken but could not heal them. We discovered that waiting does not mean God has forgotten us. The greatest miracle at Bethesda did not happen when the water moved, but when Jesus stepped into the waiting room. Today, we begin to examine the different groups of people gathered around the pool, starting with the blind. Their condition goes beyond the loss of physical sight and reveals a deeper spiritual reality that still exists today.
