THE MIRACLE YOU MUST WALK AWAY FROM PART 1 — THE EMPTY NETS BEFORE THE MIRACLE
Matthew 6:9–13, John 3:1–17
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.bThy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread....
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God...Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God...That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit...
In Part 1, we learnt that Jesus didn’t come to establish a religion but a Kingdom — a divine government meant to bring Heaven’s reality to earth. We also discovered that citizenship in this Kingdom begins with being born again, as Jesus told Nicodemus. God’s plan is not just to save us from sin but to make us His ambassadors, revealing His rule in every area of life.
Every kingdom expands its influence through colonization, shaping the identity and culture of new territories. While earthly colonization imposes external control, Kingdom Colonization transforms from within — aligning hearts and societies with God’s will.
To walk in this reality, we must understand the true nature of colonization and its role in God’s redemptive plan, so we can effectively advance His Kingdom on earth.
Understanding Colonization
Colonization occurs when a kingdom extends its rule over another territory, imposing its culture, laws, and governance. Colonizers bring their language, lifestyle, and systems to reshape the new land in the image of their homeland. This process isn’t just about occupation — it’s about transformation, making the colony a reflection of the ruling kingdom.
Kingdom Colonization
Kingdom Colonization is Heaven’s way of extending God’s rule through believers. It is a spiritual process that transforms societies, nations, and individuals by establishing God’s principles in every sphere of life.
Jesus summarized this divine strategy in Matthew 6:10 (KJV) —
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
Unlike earthly colonization that oppressed and exploited, God’s Kingdom brings liberty, healing, and restoration. When we live as citizens of Heaven, we reflect God’s justice, truth, and love in a broken world.
Reflection
Colonization changes culture. Has the culture of Heaven truly replaced the old ways in your heart? What parts of your life still need Heaven’s touch?
π Prayer:
Lord, help me understand my role in advancing Your Kingdom. Let Your values, truth, and presence transform my world through me. Amen.

In Part 3 — Reflecting the Nature of the Kingdom, we’ll explore how every colony reveals the character of its ruler, and how believers — as God’s ambassadors — carry Heaven’s identity and influence to reshape the world around them.
Stay tuned.
