Understanding the Meaning of Partnership Before exploring the verse, it is important to define what partnership or partnering means. Partnership is a relationship in which two or more parties work together toward a shared goal, sharing responsibility, effort, and sometimes resources. In spiritual terms, partnering with God means aligning ourselves with His purpose, obeying His direction, and participating in the work He is already doing on earth.
