THE SURROGATE JOURNEY: BIRTHING PURPOSE THROUGH OTHERS.  PART 3: THE WEIGHT OF THE WOMB — WHEN CARRYING GETS COMPLICATED Genesis 16:5–6 Then Sarai said to Abram, ‘You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering. I put my servant in your arms, and now that she knows she is pregnant, she despises me.’ Then Sarai mistreated Hagar; so she fled from her.” (NIV) šŸ” Quick Recap: In Part 2 , we met Hagar, the Egyptian servant chosen by Sarai to carry her child. Though not her dream, not her plan, and not her baby—she became the carrier of a promise she didn’t initiate. We learned how sometimes we are called to be the “other woman” in someone else’s destiny story—carrying, serving, interceding, and pushing someone else’s dream forward. 🤰 The Blessing that Brought Bitterness Hagar became pregnant. PRESERVING OUR INTEGRITY: BEING THE SALT OF THE EARTH PART 4

PRESERVING OUR INTEGRITY: BEING THE SALT OF THE EARTH PART 4

Matthew 5:13

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."

Welcome to Part 4 of our series, Preserving Our Integrity: Being the Salt of the Earth.
In the previous part, we explored the story of an Apostle overcoming deep-rooted addictions through perseverance and dependence on God's Word. Today, we will continue to extract valuable lessons from his journey on maintaining integrity.

Continuation of the Story on the Lessons of Integrity

3. Perseverance and Commitment:
Overcoming deep-rooted sins requires perseverance and a steadfast commitment to change. The Apostle’s dedication to reading the Bible multiple times demonstrates the importance of persistence in the journey to maintain integrity.

4. Dependence on the Holy Spirit:
The Apostle’s victory was not achieved through his strength alone but through the help of the Holy Spirit. We must rely on the Holy Spirit to guide, empower, and sustain us in our pursuit of integrity.

5. Seeking Positive Change:
Seeking positive change does not come easily. It takes time, determination, and focus. The Apostle’s journey shows that transformation is a process that requires unwavering dedication and trust in God’s plan.

6. Living Out Our Faith:
Being the salt of the earth means living a life that reflects God’s truth. The Apostle’s transformation from addiction to integrity illustrates how our lives can become a testament to God’s redeeming power.

REFLECTION:

Take a moment to examine your own life. Are there hidden struggles that threaten your integrity? Are you persevering in your faith and depending on the Holy Spirit to guide you? True transformation begins when we are honest with ourselves and surrender completely to God’s refining power.

Commit today to a deeper walk with God. Spend time in His Word, ask the Holy Spirit for strength, and take intentional steps to guard your integrity. Let your life be a living testimony of God’s power to restore and transform.

PRAYER:

Lord, help me to recognize my weaknesses and seek Your help to overcome them. Fill me with Your Word, empower me with Your Spirit, and guide me to live life of true integrity. May I always be the salt of the earth, preserving my faith and reflecting Your glory in all I do. Amen.

Watch out for Part V, where we will continue exploring the importance of integrity in our Christian walk.

Thank you!
