RECOGNIZING AND DEVELOPING THE EVANGELIST WITHIN THE BELIEVER PART 9: THE EVANGELIST WITHIN THE BELIEVER Acts 8:26–40 & 2 Kings 5 In Part 8, we saw how God orchestrated a divine appointment between Philip the Evangelist and the Ethiopian eunuch on a desert road. The eunuch had been prepared by God, reading Scripture and seeking understanding. Philip recognized the opportunity, explained the truth of Christ, and led him into obedience through baptism. This demonstrated that God moves heaven and earth to reach one seeking soul, and that evangelism often flows through ordinary believers who are ready and obedient. Evangelism is not just a role; it is a nature placed in every believer. Every follower of Christ carries the potential to share God’s message.
